Thread: Is this a bug with the Theatre Musician Quest ?
Are you referring to the start of the audition or the mid audition change?
If its the mid audition one, you need to do a "/change (songname)" for the best results. Its possible to do it on a /stopm and /startm but change is how its intended.
If you are referring to the one at the start of the audition, hit a "/startm" and have the menu open as soon as you are in place, then all you need to do is select the song from the list and hit OK. There should be plenty of time for that.

Also, be aware that general lag in whatever city you're in can contribute. If you try this in Coronet or Theed on a busy friday night, you may very well see delays in messages and failures because of it. If you think that's the problem, pick a remote NPC city with a theater (like Tyrena, or Deeja Peak) and try it there. Make sure you tool around town a little first, talk to some NPCs see if the lag is planet wide or not.
I also recommend watching the moon for 3-5 minutes. If it's a laggy server period you'll understand why I say that

Or any NPC Theatre on Tatooine. Especially Mos Eisley (if it has one...I can never remember). Tat has been bad since the CU and the new player experiences that drop EVERY new character into Eisley.
Oh and my anti-Lag trick is to look down and steer by the map overlay. It gets me around medium laggy towns with no lag. Nothing helps Mos Eisley currently.
