Thread: I need to be inspired!

Okay fellow musicians,
I need some inspiration for keeping master musician. It pains me seeing my toon so worthless, and with pub 20 its going to be truly sad. I know they are planning new inspiration type buffs but who knows how long these are going to take, it could be months from now before they go live. So help me out here, am i alone? should i stick with it? Give me your thoughts please...

When you get the answer let me know too. I'm holding onto MMus until pub 20, I'll play the song a couple times do the lights then drop the profession without seeing some hard evidence and planning on the devs part. It pains me, hence why I wrote "My Reflection," a post somewhere near the top of our forum.

I play the game primarily for the social aspect. While i want my Musicain to be more usefull, I simply enjoy playing the role whether in my own cantina or in an NPC one. I do, however as you can read in my sig, have the advantage of having other accounts to play so that lessens the impact. If your only toon is an Entertainer i can see that it could be disheartening. But I really feel that they have things planned. I know the corrrespondents in other forums are already asking their people what kind of inspiration buff their profession needs. These will be coming and the players of those professions will seek us out to get those buffs. And I bet we will have to be AFK to give them too!


Do not give up hope yet!

My faith in the profession hasn't wavered, but only because I envision wonderful things for Musician.


Whether or not we realize what I've envisioned, or even any part of the fun Musician could be, has yet to be seen.


I recommend putting all of your instruments and crafting tools into your bank. Take them off of you, and put them somewhere that will take effort to get to - a conscious effort.


If, after a day or two, you're finding yourself wanting to go to the bank or wherever to get them, to play one particular song...then you know 1) whether you still want Musician at all and 2) how high of a level of Musician would satisfy you, if you dropped it.


I dunno, just a thought.
