Thread: I'm a Master Musician and nothing will change that
I won't drop it.
I still love it.
I think the upcoming changes are a good start.
I survived the hologrind, the afker's, the buffbots and these changes good or bad won't stop me.
I didn't become a musician because of the skilltree or the services I could provide to other players.
I became a musician because of the people and the fun I had playing music with them.
That is the very thing that keeps me playing the game and the music.
They can have my mandoviol when they can pry it from my cold dead fingers.
I just needed to get that off of my chest. I'll end it there because if I keep going I will definitely make people mad with my comments.
Post if you feel the same way.

I'm a quad master.
Only Master Musician/Master Ent here. I always had a combat profession next to that, but the CU pretty much nerfed dabblers, I'm useless now as a CL 54. Considering putting those skill points into Shipwright.
I won't drop it.
Me neither.
I still love it.
You bet

Only if SOE follows through on their promises. And that's the big problem: they rarely ever follow through on what they started. Especially with so many musicians dropping what they see as a useless profession now, I think there's a high chance of SOE saying there's not enough of us left to justify any more development time. But time will tell...

I hear ya...

Nope, me neither.

Definitely
That is the very thing that keeps me playing the game and the music.
Yep.
They can have my mandoviol when they can pry it from my cold dead fingers.
The day I stop being a musician is the day SOE loses my money - for good.

I agree with everything you say.
My problem is that as a profession we never see any new additions or content, we just have things nerfed, broken or removed.
If we were a combat profession this would never be acceptable, but because we are deemed superflous to the CU design we are forgotten.
I would say it borders on discrimination that professions like Jedi and BH get fixes, new content and upgrades every patch, but in 2 years we get nothing tangible.
All I want is to be treated on equal terms as combat players, i pay the same amount as they do, all I ask is for is the same development time investment in improving our profession that they recieve.
We arenot second class citizens, so why should we accept the mantle and allow ourselves to be treated as such?
I hear you.
I am still TKM ME MM.
I am the only PvPing entertainer I know of. I have a full jedi, but there is nothing like DBing rebels with a mandovoil.
10 damage FTW
And Vol is Vol, can't say much more than that and if you're on Bloodfin you'll know what i mean. (This is a good thing.)
What if the next patch note was
"Have removed all entertainer professions from the game entirely."
