Okay so what is the deal with musicians using props. Are they all available for all entertainers or are some onlu usable by dancers while others any ent can use?

The certs are listed in each skill box. you have the box, you can use/make the prop/instrument.

Key thing to note is that the instrument counts as a prop so a non-dancer musician can not use a prop and a 'held' instrument at the same time, but can hold a prop when using the nal or omni.

A dancer musician can hold a prop and any instrument or two props on the nal/omni.

Well you can hold a prop and an instrument. You can only hold left handed ones. Also you need to equip it first, but you can hold one and play (even tho I bugged this on TC).

On Ommni and Nal, you can dual weild props and play.

Correct. I had the various dancer props in my left hand while I played various horns and the mando.
