Well, some people here will doubtless advise you to stop wasting your time with entertainer missions, since the pay is so bad. Yes yes yes, your Correspondent has repeatedly whined about this to the devs, and they've repeatedly not done anything.

ANYWAY, the missions typically give you a waypoint in front of the relevant building. You need to go inside that building and perform there. Performing outside the building (directly under the waypoint itself) will do you no good. (For some reason, waypoints don't spawn inside buildings; only right in front.) There's no NPC to talk to. Just go inside, get on stage, and start playing.

It used to be that you had to play and flourish nonstop for a set period of time in order to amass a critical amount of XP. Now, I gather, that's been changed. The basic idea is the same, though: get in there and play for a while. I just don't know if you're allowed to stop, and whether you're still required to flourish. I dont know these thingsbecause (1) I no longer get Musician XP, since I'm at the cap, and (2) I avoid entertainer missions because they are more trouble than they're worth. I can make much more money faster doing in-town delivery missions, or factional deliveries, to say nothing of destroy missions.
