This would apply to dancers also.

I have recently started attempting to get my mind buffed but am not always sucessful. Is there anyway to know if the buff was succesfully applied before you stop wacthing or listening and leave the group?

Unfortunately there is no easy way for either the buffer or the buffee to tell whether or not a buff is being applied.

Our #2 "Top Five issue" is buff improvement, including an interface that actually tells us what's happening with the buff. We haven't had a reply yet.

In the meantime, be sure to check out our Buff FAQ here in this forum (a sticki'ed thread). If I'm doing the /setp buff, I usually tell the listener to wait to /listen until I've started playing; they /listen; then I type /setp with them targeted; then I ask them to verify that they saw the message "NewJedi directs his performance to you." At least THAT appears on both the musician's and listener's interface, which is one reason I prefer to use /setp. If that worked, then I watch my timer and then instruct themto /stoplisten at the appropriate time. I'm a slow buffer, so for me that means 6+ minutes.

I don't do the grouped buff as much, but it works the same way, minus the /setp steps.
