I've been charging 6k on bloodfin and finding that I get some traffic but not the tons I am hoping for. Which I think is because we can't buff in starports with a droid like Doctors do.
I've been thinking about taking up master scout just so i can set up camp by some POI's to get more traffic.
Anyway back to the other question what do others charge? Am I to low to high?

I charge 5k, and I don't get much traffic. But I don't advertise as much. I used to not have a set price for people, but I felt bad when someone would tip me 8 or 10k, but other people were tipping me 3k. Better yet, even though I have a set price, people still tip me more.

Iask for5k on Chilastra, but usually get more. If people can't afford that, I've done it for 2k or less. I never turn down anyone for a buff, and people seem to appreciate that.

I've had people not pay me before, I really don't care. Watch out for those people, that seems to happen a lot.

Two words... Reverse Psychology.
I give free buffs, but "tips are welcomed". I usually get about 10k tips.

I have a very strict policy on buffs......
i make them take waht ever number is fair then X it by 0 and pay me that....
oh yah the F-R-Double E policy *free
...given i have othere ways of makin money so i give free buffs to any one and every one just to make freinds and get known......but it is true alot of peopel still tip me so sayin free works (sometimes)
It makes me proud to have random people come up to me and ask for one of Jimiminimy's famous buffs
in the dant outpost
basicly waht im sayin................its a socail game and if u want to make freinds offer em for free
(hoping u have other ways of making money)

OK after one day of charging I made about 60k. Which while more money then i had to start the day really sucks.
I'll give the free thing a shot soon and see how it works out.

I personally let people pay whatever they want. I just tell them charge what they think is reasonable. I average anywhere between 5k-15k but I do get the occasional "cheap" fellow who only pays about 1k-3k.
It's all about the customer's satisfaction.

I don't set a price, just whatever they feel is fair. I have never been accused of overcharging
Yes, some folks are way more fair than others (hehe) most commonly I get about 10k, but have seen 1k all the way to 20k. No matter what they tip, I thank them for their generosity. If I find someone that takes advantage and feels that my buffs aren't worth a single credit, they find their way to my ignore list somehow. Most ofthese tipsgo into looking for more "Musical Mind Enhancement" skill tapes, which make my buffs stronger. Up to 108 on my buffs right now, but I'm still looking.
