It was a great idea too. I never found a Squad leader.

I know a lot of people really hate the hologrinders, but I've met a few folks I never would have known, nice people.I explained to one guy his4 second loopspatial screaming was driving me bats, and told another guy to have more than 1 flo in his macro, and they actually listened to me, works--as long as you're nice about it. I enjoy it when I'm on some tavern on a rimworld and have backup. It's the buffbots I hate. The guild ones, okay, let 'em do it, but I hate the ones in public cantinas, O I hate 'em.

They don't group, first thing. They have to be solo, I hate that.It's so totally against what entertainers are about. When I'm buffing, I'll join with the hologrinders when they're there, they want that because otherwise I'm taking all their healing experience. These buffbots are leeching the real entertainer and hologrinders of experience. And there I am, how am I suppose to charge anything with a buffbot giving it allaway?

And it's all, O don't worry don't worry,*jedi revamp* like this will fix anything.

Hell, I liked having big bands, they may have been afk a lot, but you'd be surprised how many would stick around, pop in and out. I still ended up socializing with them. So it'll be me and the buffbot in the corner. And once it becomes much more common to open a secondslot, you can bet there will beEVEN MORE of these buffbots.

I don't see the Jedi Revamp doing anything but making the situation worse, actually. Do the devs have any foresight whatsoever???

The problem would be solved, of course, if there were a cost involved everytime they threw out a buff. But I'm always harping on that.

If I find folks that are listening to me just for BF/Mind healing, I politely ask that they please help the hard working folk in the main cantina hall that are still trying to earn their musician wings by listening to them instead. I am getting slightly perturbed while I'm in a group and buffing at the same time when some yoyo decides to type /stop.

Back to the meat of the original message, I loved the original post and was getting some very nasty..er...neat ideas.

I see people come in, wounded, and go immedietely to the buffbot. The buffbotmonotones "please listen to the others ifyou have mind wounds I am only here to buff." The person ignores that, and procedes to get buffs while they also get healed. The guy getting the buff doesn't care. I see this over and over, and the grinders even told me their healing exp took a nosedive once the buffbot wobbled in and parked in the corner.

If somebody types /stop don't freak out, just /startb and move on. So the buff takes an extra fifteen seconds.

Your right about the buffbot thing.

The ones that are guild run and are macro'd in a player cantina well away from having me listen to it is one thing. But having one spamming stuff in an NPC cantina is really annoying.

Got one on Bloodfin that hangs out in Coronet cantina just spamming away....name is Arwyn or something like that.

Every time i am in there and people come in and move toward her i shout this

/shout Please by all means everyone flock around the afk buff bot...show your support for live entertainers by completely ignoring them and getting your buffs and heals from a machine! GO BOT GO! /sarcasm off

IF this person wants to be a buff bot fine..but get the heck outta a local NPC city cantina like Coronet. Its like pulling teeth to make these bone heads realize how detrimental it is to the entertainer profession. They dont care one bit about it..all they care about is the credits they might get while sleeping...thats it!

I am almost to the point where i been pondering emailing a buffbot and telling them i will PAY THEM to go the hell away and never come back
