Okey, do you:

- 2 flourish per 10 seconds
- use your best instrument (and if possible best song)
- join a entertainer group with as many people performing as possible
- have /listeners?
- go up the Musical Knowledge tree first (to get better songs and instruments)

if you have to say yes to all of this.. then it is this slow...
but actually... there are only 8 boxes of musician. So you are done in
32 hours. this is with playing just 3 hours a day only 11 days.
If you are lucky, you will have the necessary Entertainment Healing XP
done also in this time.

Is this really so slow?

Yea, Have done all of this I still haven't got knowldge 1 yet taken me 6 hours. The Healing goes up much much fast. But the music xp is killing me

i believe you still get music xp by crafting the instruments unless they changed it

That's impossible. If you flourished every 5 seconds, even at Novice Ent, you'd have to pull in...six XP or so every ten seconds. That's 36 XP in a minute. If Music I requires 1000 XP (not sure about that), then it'd take (gets out calculator) 27.77777777778 minutes to grind.

Are you sure you're in a full group of entertainers? A full group makes a big difference.

In any case, it took me 3-4 weeks at launch to master Musician. I played a LOT, and I didn't macro. If it takes you less time than that, then I'm not going to be particularly sympathetic.
