Do you think there is a good chance that Musicians will be able to buff oursleves soon. Or is it just a fantasy, and there is more chance of Jabba loosing weight?

Can anybody think of another RPG or MMOG where a character is given a skill or a class or ability to "buff," and yet the only limitation to this ability is that they can'tdo it onthemselves? I'm just curious. I know plenty of cases where you can only buff yourself, just none where it's everybody but yourself.

Every other type of buff can be applied to oneself why not entertainer buffs

I just submitted this and two other buff-related questions to TH as our weekly "Question". I also asked whether buff duration could be lengthened to three hours, and whether we could get improvements to the buff interface: e.g., an indication that we're buffing properly, and notification that the buff has worked. I hope TH is willing to treat these as "one" question about All Things Buff-Related.

I know this may sound kind of silly, and maybe too easy to be true. We are told we cannot buff ourselves because we cannot listen and stop listening to ourselves. We listen to ourselves when we start playing, how else could we heal our own mind wounds and battle fatigue. Wouldn't it make sense that then we stop listening when we stop playing?
