Trees, presumably.
Either buy it off the Bazzar, another player, or if you have Novice Artisan skills you can use a Flora Survey Device to survey for and sample Flora Structural (wood). Or you can get someone who can survey to tell you where to place a micro flora farm (or other size flora harvester). But for that you'd need to supply the harvester with power and maintenance money.
Easiest is to buy it off the Bazzar.

Whats the highest SR in wood you've seen. Ive seen the high 600's but I dont know if thats real good or I should hold out for a 900ish one. (Most of the time its like 150 - 300)

to my knowlage corellian delisius wood caps at 700sr ... i use a 671sr wood at moment and its enough to make some realy nice stuff

I have some Corellian at 690 SR and some Lokian at 693.

Thats great, thanks. Ive been trying to get some materials ready for when I hit novice WS. Im sure the melee weapons will have to hold me over till I get all my ducks in a row. I have some great SR metals, but was hoping for some good wood.

Hey,
Does wood count as an organic structural to use in camps?
Cause it would be much easier to us a flora farm to get the wood then just harvest hides from the creatures.

It's flora structural, I think it must be ... try it sometime. It's a real bonus to BEs too ... we can use it in any organic slots, and it's easier to get high OQ wood than high OQ, PE, FL flora food.

Nope its organic structural which in this case means bone. After i had some time to understand the meaning. Which is what makes up the structure of an animal. It made sense. Of course that doesnt explain pikets, thunes and other large creatures that have, by this defination, no structure

No, you cannot use wood.
You need bone (maybe horn) and hide, and whatever specific materials for the Ranger camps.

But man if you used Horn to make a camp that would bea horrible waste. Well a waste of a material with no use. It makes a far better trophy
