Thread: anyone else actually write music in game?

The last few days I've been working on making flourish macros that actually sound good... I got a bit tired of the normal /flourish 1-8; /repeat


So for I have a great song for the Fizz playing rock(my favorite song).. and passed out the macro to all the other musician's in the cantina and it actually sounded good playing starwars1 though still a bit too bouncy for my tastes... haha the point is it wasgreat and the listeners actually noticed.

I need to get into "writing" (putting into macros) my flourish combos. I always try to make what I play sound good; I think it's because I'm in a concert band (wind and percussion ensemble for those not in the know) in real life. *shrug*



For StarWars2 (the cantina music) on the fizz, I've found this is a nice combination:


1, 4, 7, 5, 8

I have a few different Macros I use for different songs. With the new droid music playback, I've started coming up with new and Improved versions to use with my droid. It's nice to actually have someone (even if it is a droid) to play Virtuoso with!

YES! Those songs that mando solos sound SOOOO sucky on will finally be good with recorded bandfills! My droid is gonna be ready in like a few minutes or something.......... ok back to righteous anger over <<((***ENTERTAINER NERF***))>> O.o

I've got a whole number I put together for SW3 on a full band. Still working on tweaking it to sound just right, but it's only been getting better. I've added the current version to my mp3 playlist.

It all started with jamming to sw3 on the nalargon. I love the sequence 2-6-3-5 and X-8-1 (X = unflourished). So I wrote music around it.

I've also got arranged music for ceremonial and ballad, including lyrics you can even sing to the music. For the longest time I couldn't hear those played on the mandoviol without hearing the lyrics in my head.
