Thread: Cantina Sign Bug

I've owned two cantinas now, and each one, the sign is stuck in the wall, or when it's a merchant sign, in the middle of the building. I've placed these cantinas several times, and each time it's the same. I've heard ways to fix this, but can't find any information on it. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Ive had the same issue. Ihowever wasnt aware that there is a fix. Im intrested too lol. Can anyone shed light on this for us?

Wow you sure have a bug. I have never heard of this happening on Bria. I do have a few questions for you.
1) Is this happening to just you on this server, or are others affected as well?
2) Have you reported the issue by opening a customer service ticket? If so, what response did you get?
If you got the "it's a bug and will be fixed with the next publish response", I suggest reportthe bug daily on the issue. That's my "squeaky wheel gets the grease" solution. I have noticed that if people report bugs constantly they tend to get fixed faster.

I've heard of it affecting other people, but I haven't seen it on other servers. I reported it to the CSRs when I placed my second cantina. They basically said "tell us where the cantina is and we'll come and fix it" but with no action on that yet.
Edit: I got a CSR response saying my sign will be put in the right place after the server resets. Maybe the only way to fix this is ti submit a CSR ticket every time it happens?

apearently its both sunnrunner and naritus at least. I havent tried reporting the issue but will asap. Ill let you know what happens.

my master merchant friend try to change the sign and that failed horribly...

its an old bug, i had a cantina which was placed circa 5 months ago. it stood for about 4 months with internal sign until the day it was demolished.

I'm sorry I missed this thread earlier. I've never seen this issue on my server, and in fact this is the first I've heard of it. I can take it up with the devs if you like, but they're so preoccupied with JTL right now that I wonder whether we might first try the Merchant or Architect forums. I'll go post notes over there and see if I can learn anything, and maybe ask those two Correspondents about this.

OK, I've posted notes in the two forums I mentioned. So far the responses don't add much to what we already know. If I don't learn much more soon, I'll go ahead and post something in the Correspondent Forum about this.

One Architect replied to my thread by noting that a particular species of house (Corellian small?) has the same problem. I'll add her information to the report I give to the devs about this. At this point, I'm inclined to wait til after the long weekend because it's late on a Friday and I don't want it to get lost in the shuffle. That'll give me time to collect more info about this. It's obviously not a game-stopping bug, but it's the kind of thing that would annoy the heck out of me personally. You spend all that money (and lots) on a cantina; you want it to look good.

Thank you for the response. I never got another one from the CSRs, and my sign is still in the middle of the cantina, and only visible through the wall from outside (it's a merchant sign).
