Well, I'm in JTL Beta. And you know, NDA and all.
Also, as seems to be the trend with all Devs in this game,it is time to fall silent. Otherwise, what kind of Dev Pro Tempore would I be? JTL=Dev silence to the paying population of SWG. Sorry folks. /shrug

(I need a break, and our current situation is nothing short of infuriating for me.)
Feel free to PM me, but remember the policy about PM's from Devs that no one ever told you. You WILL be held accountable for it.

Naw, I didn't decide this from the stuff you said. It's not to do with you, really - I understand you're frustrated over stuff.
I'm feeling the same way.
I agree, I think it's best if I chilled out, too.
Say hey anytime. Don't give up on Entertainer just yet. Things will get better.........eventually.

Oh yeah, I can completely understand you. These days, I'm not posting even half the cynical and sarcastic comments that would come to mind in various threads related to entertainers or even general development.
But let me try one more time for old times sake:

It just feels as if there's no point. The powers that be in SWG (not necessarily the Devs though) don't give a damn about the already existing player-base. It's all about the next hot thing that can be marketed and sold to as many new subscribers as possible. Hence their focus on Jedi and JtL. Because these things bring in new players.
If you already are an existing subscriber, then you have already paid and are not important anymore. SOE doesn't care in the least about making this the best game possible for anyone involved, it's all about sales figures in the next fiscal period. The way they figure it, if 100k people quit in disgust over their current handling of the core game, and they get 200k new ones from JtL, they have come out ahead. Of course those new ones will get disillusioned pretty quickly themselves - and that doesn't exactly make me confident for the future. Because that means that SOE will always be on the lookout for the next hot thing to sell to the public, and that the core game will never get fixed, because there's always the next expansion to implement to draw more people in to replace the ones that keep leaving. And sooner or later that spiral will speed up and SOE won't be able to keep up anymore, and that will be that.
I wonder when SOE will announce the next expansion for which they will put everything else on the backburner: before or after xmas?
