I have mentioned my ideas on adding npc band mates in the past, and just recently i saw a screen shot that looks like a bith band. the screen shot is like #430ish on the list and looks decent. I figured it is just someone who is placing vendors. So why cant the devs just give us some damn band mates?!?! It is time for some post-master content for this profession, the "western" song will be cool, but apperently there is no new instrument. Which sucks. C'mon just give us something new to use even if it is small.

I've always liked this idea, on the assumption that we're talking about player-controlled "pets" rather than NPCs that can heal and buff independently of player control. I've raised it probably a half-dozen times with the devs, usually as an example of cool Musician proposals for post-Master content. I think I had one mildly enthusiastic response a long time ago, but nothing since.

I think a new kind of playback droid would work well. The humanoid droids that hold instruments and stuff. Be more interesting than just the normal playback droids and it wouldn't take away from the DE's.

Personally, I think NPC band mates are about the last thing our botted profession needs. As we tell our customers, there are actually other masters (or near-masters) around at practically any time of the day - finding them might just involve using the ent/atk/whatever channel, a well-selected friends list and some travel.
As for post-master content, I would be happy to take the time learning to play a new song or a new instrument (that actually sounds different) every other month or so ;-)
Oh, regarding the screenshot, like quitch said, it looks very much like the Bith band NPCs playing the 'real' Cantina Song in Wuher's cantina, Mos Eisley.
