Here's the latest from the TC Patchnotes. I'm going to try to find out what various types of experience are affected by the inspirations now. I know Panthu's already discovered in her testing that the bonus works for ID xp, but not for dancing or ent healing xp.

From what I saw, it appears that while you are getting the enhancement, it does not affect you. Only after you stop listening do you receive the benefits. Since we automatically listen to ourselves as we play, we do not receive the bonus. So...my guess is, since (unlike our mind buffs) we receive this buff, if we /stoplisten to ourselves while playing, we'll receive the benefit of the inspiration buff.

From 10% to 5%? WTH!?!?!? They're makingour buffseven weaker? this SUCKS!!!!!!! Noone is going to be able to make a living as an entertainer anymore. This CU is a joke! They are going to completely destroy the game!

This is crap.
I'm appalled.
And an inspired Danceror Musician gets no xp bonus? What a friggin' joke. Unacceptable.
Reducing Inspiration buffs from 10% to 5% is a low blow. These things are worthless, and I'm beginning to feel all of my efforts to help Entertainers in the CU were worthless, too.
I need a drink, right friggin NOW.

Heh.... i hate what us musicians, dancers and entertainer have been dragged down too...
I for one will not be giving up my prof, i enjoy dancing around, playing music and using the /rap and /sing commands WAY too much 
So if farstar is still after a ATK musician after the CU... Tattooine, Fort Storm! HELL YES!
As far as the CU there's only one thing to say... "Sh|t Happens"

Note that a Performer is constantly under the influence of his own inspiration (out of context, this sentence sounds soo deep
), so better ask directly for an xp requirement reduction Not to mention that you are getting entertainer healing xp when 'inspiring' yourself.
Now I can see the great Romantic period coming with artist commiting massive suicides..... to get rid of their inspiration buff and get more healing xp
(even more now that, if I beleive those patch notes, that xp is finally shared among group members!).There might still be some hope left for us, even more if you believe some quite somewhere that says there should be non combattant love patch for Soon (tm) after the CU (2 months?). (What could they give us in replacement of our Mind Buffs that should work better when the performer is ATK? That's what they promised
)Anyhow... I'm damn curious to see all that mess when the CU comes live
Methinks it could be funny (/note to self, don't forget the popcorn for May 5)edit: Thinking of it... If their future project of buff is just an enhanced inspiration buff I start whining

Of course, if you actually watch the xp bar, it seems to only be updating the non-inspired amount. So while it looks good in the combat spam, it doesn't really seem to do anything. I could be wrong though, I only sort of tested this, not as thorough as I should have been likely.

Yes, this bug has been noticed and I've reported it as a high priority issue to the devs. Check here for more detailed information.
