Thanks to Scip, my morinign addled brain now has all the appropriate info and I have tested this fix.

It appears that the inspires are now working as intended. Not only is the amount deposited correct, but it seems as though the devs have finally learned what items to put into the correct spots of the combat spam.

It now says:

You get XX points of professionType experience. (Y points of bonus experience)

as opposed to the garbage before.

So that all appears to be fixed. What's next?

So, I've seen threads under Galaxy forums....but only on searching. I was suprised that we we're not discussing it here.

At this moment, inspires seem to be non-functional.

AND....before you say "no they are working, I see the higher XP in my combat spam", its not the combat spam I'm referring to, its the actual deposited XP. If you carfully examine the spam and the XP monitor, the spam is quoting an award 10% higher than is actually deposited.

So....why are we not screaming about this in here? Aren't these the only thing added for us in the CU after all the stuff was removed?

Inspires are the only real way to get healing XP at this point, so as people stop getting them the healing XP will stop. I still see people wanting mind buffs...so I explain that mind buffs are no longer available and I used to explain the inspires....but now that is no longer valid. I'm getting tired of trying to explain the system changes and bugs to other people just to have them now no longer need us.

Are the devs really trying to kill us?

I *think* it's been mentioned once or twice in here, but Lilo made a very detailed post about the problem in the Entertainer forum. I've been encouraging people to bug it and to post about it, and I brought it up as a high priority issue to the devs. Today's patch notes indicate that it's been fixed.

Oh....but it looks like I'm only getting a 5% bonus to total XP....so it may be only giving a 10% bonus to the base XP, not the 2x XP for this week.

Does your inspiration buff icon's tooltip (when you hover over it) say anything about what percentage it's supposed to be?

The hover still says 10%. With the 2X being temporary, I'm not worried about it til after the 9th.
