Replied with all I could gather.

For some reason I think it's tied to the line of sight code. I'm getting -TOO FAR- pop up in combat when the terrain isn't favorable to attack from (i.e. uphill vs. downhill target). I'm wondering if the server isn't registering the terrain below the structure, and deciding on the character positions from there. Just pure speculation on my part.
