Thread: Possibility in new instruments for Vocal Chords?

It would be nice for the entertainers do be able to sing, and I think it could be a great addition to the profession. It could be a Master Musician skill obtained with the use of a Microphone, craftable by a Master Musician. There wouldn't necessarily be any words to the songs, but a wonderful voice would be great!
The sound of the voice would depend on the gender of the character, and would also depend on the style of the song. Flourishes would work in the same way, and they could even be set up in a way that would create wonderful harmonies amongst a group of singers. I know many times during play I've started to sing along with the tunes, and it sounds very nice.
Please add any comments to my suggestion!

Ive always wondered why comedians arent part of the mix... And how an you sing witht he song? Do you have a mic?

the singing makes me think of The 5th Element. That chick thing singing.. that was cool and not actually words, I dont think..

Yeah... the diva of 5th element is actually the inspiration behind K'vera. I adore her and have spent many an hour wailing away to that beautiful aria

I had to study that in music history class, great piece. I knew I recognized it but I couldn't place it when I watched 5th Element.

And on topic: The voice would be a great addition to the other instruments in the game. I support it, but Vibro Harp was on the wish list first

I LIKE the Vibro Harp idea. Thats cool. And a Tube or a double bass. That would totally rock. It would make jazz sound hot.

As far as I can tell, the /sing command isn't given to just anyone. I'm the only one in Tusken's Bane that it works for... probably because I'm the only entertainer
It'd be nice if they'd do the same for the /rap command.
They need a tool that's granted at master entertainer that lets you create lyrics. It'd be MUCH easier than just making a macro, and it'd be pretty cool, because it'd allow you to insert flourishes.
Then again, I still think they need a new profession - Gangsta.
