I did Jabba right after the ability to reset missions....so we're talking what...10 maybe 12 months ago.

Haven't been back since....especially because I'm now Valarian's fish (well by my faction ....Val +5000, Jabba -5000).

It seemed to be good before.

Hehe.

Since sometime shortly after launch... can't be sure about the exact date, but I'd say in the first July of SWG's existence.
The music was doubled and out of sync (Sometimes the same song, sometimes the two different songs).
I did the missions befoe they revamped the rewards and have been back there numerous times since.

I like to go back pretty often...
I trade recordings with Rebo and kiss up to Jabba to balance out the fact that I don't do much for him anymore.
Seriously, it's one of the places I like to go every once and a while to really immerse myself in the Star Wars Universe (With the exception of that messed up music).

May the force be with you.

My theory is what happens is going in to the throne room, the weaving the path does causes you to cross the "trigger" spot that starts the music twice. So you go in there and hear it playing twice. Depending on how far apart they started, it could sound like two songs.

If you let it play all the way through, next time around it should sound fine.

Would be nice, but I've gone through the music loops in there and two songs will start up again.

Triggering it twice does make a lot of sense though...
I can't remember if logging in, already there, can avoid the problem... that could possibly answer that question.

I'll give that a try, just to see.

Ya letting it loop does not work.

Each interation restarts and its random as to the next track so you could be in one of each then go to both one then both the other....or any combination....also the two pieces are different lengths so they get more and more out of sync each time you get one of each. Eventually they are WAY out of sync.

Okay, I loaded into the Palace and that made no difference.

The songs were doubled from the beginning... and looped and changed and just get all screwy, like frag described so well.

I always forget about this issue... I do hope they fix that some day.
I'll keep /bugging it.
Might just be one of those silly things that no one ever draws attention towards and slips passed the radar.

Well he plays Lapti Nek (or whatever the spelling is) ..the one Sy Snootles sings. Then there is a funky instrumental....both sampled from the movie but cut down. Both are on the Jukebox also.

Sometimes it would be the same song doubled and out of sync... other times it's the two different songs (Doubled).

Maybe you've just always happened to get the same ones?

It does kind of ruin the atmosphere doesn't it?
