Hail my friends...

Anyone having problems with their Nalargon? I keep stopping from playing...especially when I /setperf.

Anyone else having this problem?

When you play the nalargon (or ommni box), you must keep it targetted or you will stop playing. It seems to check whether it will stop you playing on or near each xp tick (when the system tells you that you've gained musician or entertainer healing xp), so you can try to target something quickly and then target the instrument again before it updates. However, for most tasks, you're able to just supply a target name in the command line; e.g. "/setperform Spazin" to direct my performance to you.

If you're really, really fast and have your mouse pointed in just the right place and hold your breath while you count to 14 in Spanish like Bono, you can use a targetted/setperf macro and click back on your narlagon before the system registers that you're not touching it.

Unless you actually like the sound of that thing, though, I'd recommend just using a hand-held instrument. Much easier.

Or just keep the Narg targeted and type /setperf <PLAYERS NAME>

I love to play Nala, but so rarely do, because of the issues it has. It really gets annoying fast.

But last time I played it was a blast because we were goofing around and 3 of us (all females) dressed alike were playing one Nala in triangle formation. We got so many nice comments about it that evening.
