I afk through the weekends in an aclove. Its because I'm at work untill 9 eastern, though I think I'm going to try to patch my laptop into the network tomorrow without getting caught. Sounds like a damn adventure.

When I go to work, I just turn my computer off. May I ask why you feel the need to AFK?

Not that I feel the need to. Just playing with the force sensitive sideshow in order to keep musician as a viable class and feel like I'm actually making an accomplishment in the game.

Wow, it's still that full? I went into Theed cantina yesterday on Sunrunner and it was completely empty. Not one person. Not sure which of the two I prefer.

So why are there so many AFK'ers?

Just FYI, the rest of them are AFK too, with the exception of the Master Surgeon there. He was really there.

And yes, I know that all of your servers are like this. That's why it's so sad. I really wish that this would be fixed before the devs begin changing our entire skill trees around. If they make us "useful" again before breaking recursive macro'ing, it will just mean we will see 71 AFK entertainers in Theed at 3pm on a Saturday instead of 21.

I am really looking forward to the Combat Upgrade for my Commando and Combat Medic parts. But the Entertainer in me thinks that turning off recursive macro's would be very simple, and it would solve spamming, bots, and much more. That said, I've been waiting since July of 2003 for it to be fixed, so I am not holding my breath. (It took about a week for Eclipse to get wise to macro's, hehe)

Also, Funk is not a funky song. SW4 is.

I had much the same experience the other night on Scylla. After a long, ugly day at work, I didn't feel like dancing, but hit Coronet cantina during prime-time just to see if any of the (few) ATKs were there. What I found instead was an all-AFK cantina, including the customers. I even offered 1mil credits to the first entertainer to answer and was greeted by "if my actions low heal me plz thx" a few times. Saved me 1mil credits that I couldn't really afford to part with, but it was really depressing. I ended up dancing for a few minutes when some combat-types came in just because I hate seeing no ATK representation during prime-time, but I ended up logging out shortly after that because it was already too gloomy in there to stay.

*sigh*

It is your computer making the accomplishment not you, you aren't there playing the game. How can you be proud of that?

I could not have phrased a better question.
