Are there any plans in the works to add any new instruments for us musician? If not there should be. I saw forget the CU and concentrate on new instruments!

Well there is a new sound for western... It's not in game yet but it exists. So the conclusion can be drawn that there IS plans, just how long will they take...

After seeing the CU info, I wouldn't be surprised if they took out instruments. Hopefully the Xantha will be put in.

The two new songs on test don't have the Xantha sound, so I'd imagine that the inclusion of it in Western was a mistake. Unless they plan on bundling the Xantha instrument sounds for all of the songs together at some point...

I'm guessing the including was a mistake for different reasons. Specifically that they didn't want people to know about it just yet, and that all the xantha tracks will come together. But who knows.

Didn't they say that new Instruments and Entertainer Story Quests will come with the Hutt Casino? I'm sure I read that somewhere last year... And the Casino is due to be worked on after the CU I think.

from the sounds i heard of it, it was my thought they were gunna tie in two sounds existing in game for it to make it a more interesting solo instrament... aka doing solo with a droid you'd have 3 sounds essentially... Heck if that were the case, I'd love it.

No pic yet (There's no graphics resources in the game for it at the moment) but do have a description from the EU. The Xantha is a cross between a stringed instrument and a wind instrument. It is played by simultaneously plucking the strings and stopping holes. It requires a lot of musical skill to play.

It was confirmed a while ago that the Hutt Casino was on hold indefinatly, or something to that effect.

I'm not holding my breath for it but it would be nice to see an instrument and a song or two come out with the expansion. Maybe in a quest based way and the songs and instruments are wookiee made and looking.

There are 2 new songs on TC. Hopefully they will hit live soon, but as for them being part of the expansion or CU.....they are not part of either. There is no quest for them, they just are granted to you.
We'll probablky have to wait another 12-18 months for more.
