Scenario:

You have a group of 20 performers. 2 people come in and watch someone in the group. The group gets 100 entertainment exp (keeping it simple).

Question: If that same person with wounds watched a group of 4 people, would those 4 people get 500 entertainment exp from the same number of wounds/battle fatigue?

I realize the time it would take would be longer, but I know that actual musicianship exp is greatest when you are in a group of 20 playing entertainers.

I just would like to know if the same is true for entertainment exp.

If it is not, then a lot of "holomusicians" like myself would be happy to head to our city cantinas and do our work, and leave the real career musicians (who I have gained a new appreciation for) their cantinas back.

Thanks in advance. And yes, I tried the search engine. 100% results were 100% useless

Tiaga did a study on this on Test Center. His results are in the thread Results of entertainer healing xp tests on the Entertainer board. In short, there is no group bonus for EntHeal xp. The only bonus to grouping in regards to EntHeal is that if anyone in the group is being watched/listened to, everyone in the group who is currently performing at least a basic dance/song loop will get the same EntHeal xp.

On the other hand, if you want to get through performing (either Dance or Music) as quickly as possible you still want to be in a heavily populated area...because that's where the walking wounded/fatigued are. And if you go to your home city/guildhall, you're pulling EntHeal away from the dedicated performers, too. Your guildmates will make sure you're the one who heals them, if they're supportive. But if you're getting your Master's degree with others, the others benefit from your guildmates' support as much as you do.

There's just no good way around any of it. /sigh

Echinacea - thank you VERY much for your correspondence and link. Tiaga's info is excellent and I wish that thread/post was stickied
