Thread: Cant Complete Missions :(
Oddly, playing in the glowing light isn't where you stand to complete the mission. You need to go inside the cantina/hotel. The waypoint is only to the front door of the establishment and not where the actual mission is completed. So, go inside and play for ten minutes without stopping.
As already mentioned, the payout is very small but if you were going to be playing there anyway, take two missions, don't group (or the payout is divided among the group), and get your 380 credits.
"...and get your 380 credits."
380 credits? What a great payout! I wish I had found a musician mission that payed that much when I thought the best way to get credits as a musician was from the ent.terminals.
(sense the sarcasm here, folks.) Actually, I was just thinking that you slightly overestimated the payout, Luciee. Not that it matters. What will matter to the original poster is that the entertaining missions takeat least20-25 minutes to complete. The good news is that you can take two missions for the same place at once. That way you double your payout and they often complete at roughly the same time.
I guess I should say that I'm sorry if anyone's offended about what I said of how poorly the ent missions pay, but I am not sorry. ENTERTAINER MISSION PAYOUTSARE INSULTING!

And now that I have finished yet another little rant here, I will go back to my mild mannered self and spend some time with my customers. Have fun, all!

You might get 380 credits for a pair. Maybe. The rare times I do them anymore, I refresh 'til I get a pair that are at least 170 each, myself. And you only need to play/dance for 10 minutes. You can keep the mission terminal window open with a little fiddling, and get another pair as soon as the first ones pay off. It's something to do while you're standing there bored in an empty cantina hoping to provide a service for ingrates who might tip you 50cr after you heal up 200 wounds and 500 fatigue.

Yes, they are. Apparently performers aren't important enough that the developers care about insulting us, though. If you want a mission payout that's really good for a non-combatant, do Artisan missions.
Ayup, you have to be standing anywhere inside the building highlighted.. The waypoint only leads you to the front door. You then must play for 10 mins straight non-stop.
Tips:
1) Always find a cantina ( or Hotel!) with a Entertainer terminal right next to it. Then always pick the missions that use that Cantina/Hotel
2) Max payout for missions seems to be200cr (for me) at any Entertainer/Musician/Dancer skill level. Always aim for a missions in the 190-200 range
3) Always take 2 missions. The first mission will pay out after 10 mins, the second will payout 10 seconds later.
4) If your doing Musician missions, Always select the Musician tab, the default mission selection is almost always for Dancers.
5) All missions will list as Danceras their mission briefing type.. so if your not sure if you picked the right mission scan the mission text and see if it refers to dancing, or playing music. You don't want to dance/play for 10 mins, not get paid, then find out the hard way why..
