Hello everyone. New to the music industry, but am already understanding the difficulties of the music biz. This isnt a fix all problem solver, but something that might be fun to do.

I was thinking of a small quest. One that would send you to various cantinas throught the galaxie collecting memoirs of all the Music Legends about. Collecting these would give us some new insight on music and how our instruments and/or songs could be manipulated to inspire great deeds from worthy heroes. What we would then produce would be sheet music. A charged item that we would play a new song from, mabey 5 min duration. All allies or group members in close radius would gain new found inspiration for an hour or something like that. Mabey plus 5 or something to attack.

This wouldnt be overly powerful because each time we wanted to use it, we would have to complete a quest again. I would say there could be a few similar quests like this. All of them produce a different song. All with different effects. This would make people WANT to group with us. And not just in a cantina.

Any ideas or thoughts to expand this idea?

Though I'm not a musician, it sounds pretty good. I like the idea of a quest for music, and this then gives say a bonus to attack or something. However, I think you should keep the music, and that when you complete the quest, you get another song added to your arsenal, that being whatever's on the sheet.

About your idea, we have quite a few similar suggestions, but this one is a bit unique in its reward. I rather like it. Could you repost it in the suggestions for gig missions thread? Even though its not per say a gig mission, it is still a varient.
