Just wondering, since entertainer healing xp can be used for either dancer or musician healing skills, and it is apparently so slow to get musician healing xp compared to dancer healing xp...

If you're a dancer with dancer healing 4 about to switch to master musician, would it be faster to dance until you have enough healing xp to train up the musician trees and then train up the other two musician trees than it would to just play an instrument for all 4 trees?

I thought this would be the case too. I mastered dancer and decided to get musician out of the way since I have 4 levels of Wound/Fatigue Healing from my dancer. What I noticed is that while playing as a musician, even at very low levels, I would get huge healing exp. Much more so than I thought I should be. So I switched over to dancing and noticed no difference in healing exp. Seems to me that when they list "wound/fatigue healing (dancing)" it really works for dancing and music. By the time I had finished the 4 Entertainer levels of musicianship and novice musician, I had enough healing exp to go 3 skills in wounds and 1 in fatigue.

So, you don't have to dance to get good healing exp for a musician. But keep your Dance healing skills as long as you can

The lack of difference you saw is that the xp rate depends on the GROUP's healing rate, not your own. You didn't make that much of a change. In theory, there is no difference between music and dancing for healing xp, as everyone in the group gets the same xp for people that come in to be healed, and the xp is purely dependant on how much wounds they have - healing better just heals the wound faster = more xp at once but in the end, the same amount of xp.

However, in practice, there is a bug that causes a huge burst of healing xp. (Someone reported 15k at once, biggest I've seen is personally is 7k at once.) Some people think it is just lag in the xp, but I think it really is a huge burst of xp out of nowhere. However, I hear dancers report this often, but rarely hear of musicians reporting it, if ever.
