Thread: Highest level song / instrument combo?

heyas
In terms of making sure I get buffs and healing done as quick as possible, and that I am a master musician / master entertainer, what instrument / song combo is the "highest level" I can use.

It's like music xp...either song OR instrument. So you can play Virtuoso on anything (but man, does it sound weird on the mandoviol!) or any song on the Narlagon. I typically play Virtuoso on either the Chidinkalu Horn or Bandfill, because I loathe the Narlagon for myriad reasons. I find it easier to buff using a hand-held instrument, so I can directly target the patron and hit my nifty little macro with the built-in alarm, emotes and other stuff that help me remember how long I'm doing it for. 
On the other hand, I'm able to do my 75% dance buff with just Popular (the one you get at Novice Dancer) using the FragPuppy™ method, so I think if you follow that method, you can play anything on any instrument. (5 consecutive flourishes, pause for 8 seconds, repeat for 3 minutes 10 seconds)

ahhh thanks muchly. I am always playing Virtuoso on the bandfill, but its starting to get reaaaaallll old. I dont like the Nagalaron either, so dont use that. Hmmm, what level is the Mandovil considered or the Ceremonial song?

Again, I'm fairly certain that if you spam flourishes to the limit that the system lets you(and I honestly don't give a rodent's derriere if that's intended or not...though I personally won't do the stopping and starting thing that bypasses the need to pause at least 8 seconds every 5 flourishes) you can apply the buff with any instrument and song in 3:10. I'll try with a Slitherhorn and StarWars1 sometime. I know the experience you get for playing the Mandoviol (or Ceremonial) is on par with the Traz.
