I have been an entertainer myself for some time, hanging out in the Theed cantina! Since I dropped entertainer I havent even thought about picking it up again in the near future! I dont miss it..... Tho it might change!

I've been talking to many entertainers to, and I asked many: "Why are you standing there dancing for 6 hours straight?" which resulted in many who answered: "Little blue cube!".......

That made me think.... If the holocron thing is dropped... Many ppl wont give entertaining much thought which would develop a high demand for entertainers...

So you entertainers who enjoy the profession, I really hope there are more than 1/3 of you!

As for the devs, think about revamping the jedi grind... Keep the holo's, and add some special quests, where you have to be diplomatic. Or some tests that require some sort of specific answers to it, (like in KoTOR, where you answer some different questions which determine the Jedi class you are (guardian and so on), just make them a lot less obvious). That way it would make it not harder, but more challenging to become a jedi!

Good luck to all holo grinders so far, and my gratulations and respect to all who made it!

I disagree. I'm glad to see holos go, although I woulda never picked up (and fell in love with) musician without 'em. No holo grinders will make entertainers more in-demand. Maybe I can start getting some freaking tips after that.

Exactly. As it is anyone with 100 creds and 15 skill points can cure their own mind and BF. If you want it done faster, or a buff, it should come from someone willing to work his way up the ladder. And they should be rare enough to warrant a tip.

Someone afk grinding their way to master musician isn't going to help the community any. Particularly since all of them seem to be grinding in Coronet, which has never had a shortage of entertainers on Tarquinas.

it is my personal belief, as someone who has been around since a week or two after release, that the jedi holocron is THE WORST idea since releasing it in july, instead of at christmas, when more bugs were fixed and more professions would work. it was an incredibly uncreative way to implement the jedi system, and caused players to rush through professions they would never do, hating every moment of it (well, with a few exceptions, perhaps).

and now, look what happened, when i joined, i was told that the jedi would be rare and very hard to attain. these days, it seems like jsut about every serious guild has at least one jedi, hell, im in one with three that i know of.

So please. let the holo die.

Let the holo die? That will welcome a new way to follow the path of the Jedi! Some quests! From what I know/figure it will make it easier to become a Jedi! Drop the holos... Welcome all the holo haters to the Jedi grind... Welcome many more Jedi!

Thats just my opinion!

Post your opinions!

you gotta be jokin, don't drop holos? Holocrons totaly screw up the main reason for the profesion. Afterthat free Holocron give away back in december it was like no one played their profesions for fun anymore. Everyone just cared about grinding to find out what profesion would unlock their FSCS. From what i have read is that everyone will have a different and unique quest to follow, one that will take a long long time to compleate and won't just be talking to npcs. The way I see it, FS quests are a much better way to unlock an FSCSbecause there is more RolePlaying involved with it.I, myself am waiting till they change to the FS quest system so i can do that instead of mindlesly grinding to open a frekin Jedi CS.

- I support a rollback and keeping & balancing the old combat system.
...and making SWG a better place to be.
