Someone just sent me a tell about this as I was jamming in Mos Eisley...complete news to me! But this is the kind of surprise I definitely don't mind. Going to try to find out more. Woo hoo!

whats interesting is he said "songs" and "dances"...so it looks like we can learn more than one more new song

It's great to hear, and I'm glad they finally added these, they will give us a few extra tools to use in our profession. I was wondering if "[TESTING] A winnar is yuo! Reward text and items to be implemented soon" might translate from Devspeak into: "We will soon be adding new songs and dances as rewards." I never imagined that it would actually be songs and dances (plural)I'd expected them to think we would be satified with playing a year for only one new song and one new dance. Kudos to the Devs for this.
Heheh it looks like the new songs will be available for all of us. I checked the wording carefully and it seems pretty clear that the new songs will be given to us when we have successes in the Theater Manager quests. I was half-afraid they might be handing them out as awards to the AFK macroers and buffbots. 
(They may have just saved themselves a few customers, but it's time for them to address the destruction of our profession by AFK bots or those people will still be out of here.)

Publish 10 is the next publish to go live! It hits *before* JTL. Now, TH did fudge a little on the timing; he said the quests and songs would be implemented sometime during publish 10. Still, that sounds like well before JTL to me.
