Entertainers can't buff themselves because it would allow healing experience exploits, and there's the technical hurdle of being buffed while entertaining--by anybody.

Of course we can't listen to droids now, but what if a player could--only in one circumstance: it is a droid in their own datapad. So one could "listen"totheir droid, and receive a mind buff. The buff would be calculated onone's own Mind Enhancement skill.Without novice entertainer, one cannotoperate the droid, let alone listen to it. Now, the droid would have the same limitations,you'd have to be ina cantina to be buffed, etc.

This would bean ideal solution, because the musician would seek outthe random novice entertainer, and have them bandflourish their droid for them, creating new player interaction.It would actually allow new entertainers thechance to give a mind buff and get a tip!

Problem is, hard to teach a droid to dance. Unless it was a C-3or LE unit, but I guess that'd be a whole other suggestion....

hey the sollution to giving yourself a dance buff is simple. Just put mirrors in the cantina, that way you could watch yourself. I have 2 char. in game, one is TK/Dancer the other is Musician/Doctor. Now as you have guessed I play the TK most of the time and get music and doc buff from my other char. but am still allways having to try and find a dance buff. This needs to be fixed. My doctor can heal and buff himself but why can't an entertainer heal them selfs? If it is an XP issue then make it so that you have to have the Master Musician or Dancer to do it since once you hit Master you no longer have any concer about getting XP. Thoughts?
