Thread: An upside to a cantina entrance fee

I didn't do a search, so please forgive me if this has already been mentioned.
As I was reading a post about a cantina entrance fee, and how it could be divided up among the entertainers with a % based on skill level, I got to thinking about how much this fee would be. Any flat fee would endanger the ability of entertainers to get a significant piece of the pie, without the fee being extremely large. So then I thought that the fee would be based on the number of entertainers entertaining at the moment. It would make sense in a way.. on a night with more acts, the cover fee would be larger.
The cool side effect I realized would come from this, is that entertainers would start inhabiting other cantinas, in the hopes of being available somewhere with a lower fee. The lower fee would be appealing to thrifty players (and at least for a little while, the coronet afktainers might not level up due to lack of business). This could be the solution to wipe the dust off all the empty bars in the galaxy!
Anyways, not that this will happen, but thought that it would be a cool side effect.
