all of you are aware of the fact that you can turn off the afk option in the options menu right?..so any fix that detects a AFK flag on a person would be pretty usless..people can still be afk without the AFK flag..

Well, and after that many patches, removing the optional checkbox and updating the flag field in their database would surely be too much to ask for, right ? If you read the threads discussing that, you will see that in most decent ideas "making the afk flag mandatory" is point one on the list.
