I can already see all those professional 13-year olds bragging with the length of their denylist (like in ANH: "I have the death sentence on me in twelve differrent systems").

that was pretty much the response of one of the people that I've denied... "if I had a list of all the people who denied me, it would be a long list" but, wouldn't you like to know if the people who were wanting to join your group to hunt kryats were death sentenced in 12 systems before you invite them along and run the whole distance and have them screw things up the whole way?
of course... denials would have to have like a "life span" for this to work... like only last a week. wouldn't want a mistake to screw your character over for all lifetime.
or maybe an in game quest of redemption to clear the list.
I find it rare that the bragging death sentancees would want to shorten their list.
maybe denial should be more public, and broadened to protect the better interests of the galaxy. to serve as a warning more obvious than discussing the negatives of a particular "criminal" on entertainers chat forums. i've heard people say that the word gets around fast in the entertainer community... i'm going to have to dissagree. i've never heard of that master "some elite proffesion" before he came to my bar and started mischeif... but I bet in the time it got him to get to master he's had a reputation, it just never travels as well as our community deserves it to.

Tonight while in the cantina in Anchorhead i was playing in a band of about 7 people in a very crowded. and as per normal some people started upsetting a lot of the customers in the bar. they were quickly added to the denial of service list of all people who were actually in the band. however they just laughed and started watching the AFK macroers in the corner. I was thinking that it would be a nice thing to be able to check somebody's record for denials, and maybe have people with "excessive" denials be flagged. I don't just give denials out to anybody... just people who fight in MY bar. perhaps if there was an accessable list of who denied a person it would also help to change the denial command to something like this
/denyservice *name* *reason for denial*
so if you examine somebody with this flag and see that they have been denied by other masters you know... you might as well just add them onto your denial of service list too. It would do well to keep people more in line with common etiquette.
on a relatively separate note, prolly only typed due to me being tired, i was thinking that this red list should be accessible to bounty hunters with investigation. so the band asks the BHs to track down the names of red listed people and keep them out of my bar... or on an even more ludicrous note... have some way that people who annoy the whole band get TEF to any BHs as soon as they leave the cantina... bam... LLCs smoking the infidels...ok, i'll sleep now. I hope that some people can respond to this and maybe make sense of it... and add to it... and get some changes made about the infidels of the cantina.

Good idea when player cities are implemented and you actually own a bar. The last time I checked, all cantinas (or bars) were public. I feel your pain, but until you own a bar, just deal with it.
