Well I seem to think that Macros are pretty dang good, and no, I dont mean AFK Macroing. I mean being able to write you own music, in some way. and they also help to coordinate bands. So I hope they dont take out macroing all together, but just find a way to limit AFKing, which I really dont mind, unless they are spamming about some new shop, or if one of them accidently clicks on you before going AFK, and have a /smile in their macro.

Its also good for when you are talking to people, that way you are still flourishing.. and carrying on a intelligent conversation without having to either type /flourish 1, etc every 5 to 8 seconds.. even though I did try it as a newb.

Or buffing, I just recently found out how to time it, using a macro, without having to watch the clock in r/l.

So my point is there are alot of things that you can do with macros, some bad, and some good.. But they really can help out everyone... even though some use them for wrong reasons.

Firstly, I completely agree. Theres a lot of things you can do with macros. Some macros aren't so good for, but some they are great for.

Second.. You do know you can put flourishes on your hotkeys and just press F1-F8, right? Don't need to type it out. I don't use macros for normal playing. I'm pretty practiced at hitting flourishes while I'm typing.

Yeah, thats actually how I played, with macros on the hot keys. But then I figured out you could use a Macro, which is really easier.

/tell yourself 8min left
/pause 60;
/tell yourself 7min left;
/pause 60;
/tell yourself 6min left;
/pause 60;

/say 5 Min Left;
/pause 60;
/tell yourself 4 min left;
/pause 60;
/tell yourself 3 min left;
/pause 60;
/tell yourself 2 min left;
/pause 60;
/tell yourself 1 min left;
/say 1 Min Left
/pause 60;
/tell yoursefl Buff Done
/say Buff Done, Please /stoplisten

Its really just a timer, it has helped me out ALOT!

Also each command should have a ; after it, I think.But that format works, because thats pretyt much how mine is.
