I remember reading this *somewhere* along with doctors being able to do this..

Is there any way to buff for more than your musical mind enhancemnt mod states? Like docs can do with droids and stuff like that?

I also remember reading or hearing about this....can't say for sure if there was a definate 25%, and it might have been something that was just being bantered around by the Devs. I will try searching the Dev Tracker and get back to ya.

P.S. If I were to be factioned, I would know this, but my motto from the start of the game was "better a live entertainer than a dead (insert appropriate faction here)"

My search feature seems broken, but I was able to find some stuff that a few of the posters and NewJedi had mentioned. At the moment, it appears that we get absolutly no benefit from being declared and buffing.

Maybe NewJedi or one of the factioned musicians can further inform us.

it didnt work for me- i tried got the same double the secondaries buff- but then i wasnt overt, you may want to try that.
