once upon a time there was a "post your songs" thread floating around here... i considered posting these there, at the time, but these were so different and, well... kind of my own,i didn't feel like sharing, heh...
anyway, my old band "The 12 Parsecs," generally consisted of only a couple steady members (my girlfriend and my "Bass-bot")... a few times we had other members... the most enjoyable time i had was at the 12 parsecs farewell performance, in front of the starport at coronet... we had a nice crowd, i got to play the part of front man (i love doing that!), we had dancers, several musicians, groupies, and a freakin' blast...
i'll get to the point... we wrote several songs, some with multiple parts, all with carefully timed flourishes... some we never completed (like my girlfriend's horribly clever version of "i'll never /tell")... the only disclaimer i can offer is that these were written before some of the changes to the flourishing, so they may not line up just right and may require tinkering... for all of these songs, i recommend the mandoviol and bandfill at the minimum... for some, the kloo horn will sound better than a nalargon, but use your own judgement when filling out the band...and get a playback droid to group with, so the /bandflourishes will work even when you are alone...
also, i used aliases to save space in my macros listing, and for fear of the great "recursive" macro fix that never happened... oh yeh, and they are all written regarding the post episode IV, but pre-V timeline (it matters!, heh)
