Thread: Entertainer info from Fan Fest

So, I just went to Lok Pirate Radio, broadcasting from Fan Fest, and they were talking to a Dev, and I went into the chat, andI asked about Entertainers (of course lol). 
The DJ asked my question, so I thought I'd pass along what was said.
The Dev (Jeff) said that we'll be getting profession-specific buffs, which would let Entertainers give buffs to benefit different professions. An example that was brought up was that a Rifleman could listen to a Musician or watch a Dancer, and get some bonuses (like maybe accuracy) for their specific profession, rather than just the general xp buffs that Inspiration buffs provide.
Also, he said they were working on making things more fun for us, or something along those lines.
I wish he'd said more, but was ecstatic he answered my question.
A second question I put up about buffbots and problems that could result from removing recursive macros was put up right before they ran out of time. D'oh!
Still, I'd like to thank Jeff for talking a little bit about Entertainers - and the way he talked about us made me feel we could be in for some good, fun stuff. And hopefully we'll be able to do some cool buffs soon that folks will find pretty handy.

Its good to know that they are possibly, in some way shape or form, thinking about us. I had been hoping they would make the buffs something like he said.
In terms of a rifleman it would fit that if they listened to music or watched a dancer they would be calmer. That in turn would make them able to be more steady (ie more accurate) and i'd say it should add a bonus to cover maybe. Something like it would last a bit longer and/or shrink the radius of when it breaks.
