a friend of mine is having trouble gaining musician xp and ive never done entertainer profescians so my question is how do you gain xp

To flourish, you've got a couple options:
1) just type /flourish #, where # is a number from 1 to 8. You can shorten that down to just "/flo #".
2) find the 'flourish' hotbuttons in the command browser (ctrl-a, 'other'). Scroll down a bit until you see a row if 8 of them with musical notes for icons. Drag these up to your toolbar individually, into slots 1 through 8. (Bonus tip: You can expand each toolbar 'pane' (you get six of them, selectable with the tiny up/down arrows on the left side) so it takes up TWO rows. Drag the lower edge of the toolbar down until a second row of boxes appears and voila.. double the bang for your buck. To access the second row, just hit shift-fkey)
