I have a Entertainer themed Vendor on Bloodfin just outside of Theed. (don't have the way point on me right now.) Still trying to locate a Chef and DE get some fairly priced items off of to stock. (I do carry Accara.. how ever it's spelled)

Hey everyone. I was just curious about how many of you out there own and maintain a music shop to sell all your fine crafted instruments. It seems like something fun to do.

I sell instruments, but I do not have a shop, I sell them all on the Bazzar in Mos Eisley. I do not think the market is big enough to justify a Vendor, plus I do not want to do artisan!

I also sell many instruments, but again only on the Bazzar. Instruments are mostly only used by people who are grinding up the levels (and occasionally as furniture for Ommni and Nal). Those people who are grinding up the levels check the Bazzar first, and if my sale is the only one there then I tend to get it. Having a vendor outside town, I'd need to set a lower price and refresh advertising auctions.....so in my mind, better off to just sell em there.

If you really want to sell them I'd team up with an Architect and have them sell the instruments with their decorations. Just have them say that they offere instruments for decorations.

I have a musical instrument vendor. It did far better before the CU. There's been adrastic loss of interest in mastering musician or dancer since the benefit isn't any greater (other than time) over novice ent, so sales have dropped drastically.

As an additional vendor or as already mentioned as additional items on an existing vendor, it's still fine, but probably not going to provide you with a huge source of income.

Another thing to keep in mind... Bazaar instruments seem to sell faster even if they cost a bit more because it saves someone making a trip. LOL

Since patch 17 I have had a marked increase in instrument sales...

I started running the "Entertainer's Paradise" on Radiant about a year ago.

Bright colored clothing, Accaragm, and Instruments. (My characters are dancer/musician/ID and tailor/chef/merchant)

After the CU there was no more need for Accaragm so I took that one down, but still run the clothing and instruments.

It's been a lot of fun!

At first the CU sort of killed my business for a while...a lot of people gave up entertaining. But I have some regular customers, and it's been picking up again.

Now if only they could get rid of the clothing crate color bug....
