I seem to recall that the devs hinted to that possibly happening someday.....

However, the furvor over the Jukes seems to have died down. I actually have yet to see one in use as it was intended. Oh I've played with them and been there when others have done so also, but I have never seen one at an event. Then again I only tend to be at events where I am part of the music.

I, too, have yet to attend an event where a jukebox was being used. I've rented them a couple of times to take to my yacht while I sit and read/write forum posts or work on a project. They are perfect forimmersive background music like that. They don't seem to be replacing us as we had originally feared. At least, not in my experience.

Yes, the did hint at it. Maybe a craftable item or at least, programmable by a Master Musician. They would still not be static items...but then..one never knows what they might do.

There is still a large contingent that feels it's infringing on the Musician's territory. I suppose it depends on what server you are on. Most people want to hire bands for their entertainment but can't afford one or don't know of any because people don't update their information in this forum or the SWGEntertainer.com site.

Me? I'd rather have new songs and seperate sounds for the instruments we DO have, or make the music sounds as good AS the jukebox.

I used one at a wedding reception that was for a guildmate and was held in my cantina. I used it for background music however when they bride and groom shard their first dance (both master dancers) I broke out the chid horn and my faithful droid Jerry played the traz and we did a wonderful version of Waltz.

And busted out Funk later on.
