im master musician and i was wandering where should i go since i want tips now and get no exp and its only time and effort

gotta tell ya the tips are in the gigs you get hired for... our server has gone extreemly down hill on tips as late

yeah the most i have ever gotten is about 1000cr from tips......and that was in Theed....I'm not really sure where to go...Mos Eisley used to be really popular earlyier in the launch on Naritus..but now it's a ghosttown

i get decent tips now that im not a novice anymore. its usually 2 or 300 creds. sometimes theres a 1 or 2k tip if youre doing really well, but today something happened that amazed me.

i was standing at the mos eisley starport waiting to catch a shuttle to naboo. there were 7 minutes left before the next shuttle arrived, so i decided to kill the time with a waltz solo on the mando. ill be damned if i didnt get 15k from 2 of the people waiting (10k from one.....5k from the other) simply because it was wonderful music at the right time. even if nobody else had been there, i still wouldve been playing for myself...but i was astounded by it. there are good people out there..ya just gotta play from the soul-

Yeah man, people go nuts with the tips at the starports.

Tips can be found where the Stable and Active Entertainers are found in areas that are normally void of Entertainers ... So find someplace remote and desolate of enteratainers , and Entertain ... And then Stay there , and Entertain some More ... The tips will start coming in as people get to know you , if you are a good entertainer.

I hit the big time in the cantina last week on Coronet. 3 of us got 50k tips and we arent even master musicians!

yeah the tips have been goin down on ahazi. BIG money is in the gigs.

Lots of tips in starports.....yeah right....I play EVERYTIME i am waiting, no one listens, no one tips.....

Gigs gigs gigs.

Even in cantinas things are ok but you cant go AFK.

Talk to people, chat about stuff. This is the one thing I really really love about our class.

Cantinas can suk and they can also make you laugh so hard you fall of your chair.

Lots of guilds have lists of entertainers they use when throwing a party and such. Get on those.

Tour the galaxies. Build a clientele. Service your customers.

The one single most important thing is when you book and event, you make dam sure you can make it of get someone to cover for you.

Tipping to me has gone way down hill. Mainly because people arent gonna tip players who are AFK or coasting there way to master.

Just my opinion here but AFK playing and dancing has gotten wayyy out of hand.

Yanno what from my perspective it isnt mostly Us the performer community.

It's the Fighter who wants a few point in entertaining skills so he doesnt need us anymore. Or his/her guild wants entertainers for Lok runs etc and so on.

We have to break that rep. Expecially if ya want tips.

PS Never ever ever ask for tips please.

I have to agree with the general concensus that gigs are much better paying than the cantinas will ever be. I depise afk performers on all levels, so tend to stick with gigs. Player cantinas, weddings, parties, whatever, it's all good...

spend points pick up artisian and do 800 - 900 credit missions from the artisian mission booth

it can help pay for training outfits insturments or other needs,

if lack the skill points train surrender re train extc it is one of the few ways i found to make consitent money without having lots of combat skills

favorite places is bestine go to anchorhead then stop in the cantina there a while then pick up two more back to bestine and play there
