This article caught my eye, definately from being a long time Master Musician!

Music Muffled in Star Wars Game

A snippet reveals that we get a whopping 10 new songs. Still, people would rather have a jukebox around than me.

Oh WOW!! I usually try to ignore these but I can't help but get excited to hear more music is coming!! Ok, back to my quiet little corner to wait again

Sounds good! I just hope they let droids hold more songs though, with a maximun of 6 at the moment I feel pretty limited at times.

That was a really nice article. Nice to see that people are paying attention to this playstyle. I know it'd be nice to have the devs listen to use but when they get a call from a journalist asking about stuff it tends to send a stronger message.

10 more songs are awesome, but more likely than not they will be based on Star Wars music then butchered to the level of SW1-4. I really hope they give us actual Star Wars songs.

But let's have a look at another quote:
"To have a player in our game create a song that is Jon Bon Jovi or Metallica would throw people out of the fantasy"

Yeah, like most songs we play today weren't based on pop music already, and as if anybody would care about consistency immersion these days anyway


But enough sarcasm for today! I really am looking forward to the new songs. And if an improved composing system gets added as well, I would be the last to complain

It would be cool to compose songs however I'd rather them not pioneer new copyright law with the game.

Can't they just make a system where a created song is sent to SOE/LA or be OKed then allowed to be played?

I'm surprised the article didn't mention Marvel's lawsuit against City of Heroes. The legal issue involved is pretty much the same.
