Thread: Droid control? how do I use effects?

Ok on got a R2 with all 6 effects how do i use them? can i put them in to a macro?
and yes Im a Master Musician ... please help!

I do not think there is any way for you can macro them, but you can set a sequense and set delays between each effect.
Radial the droid and select "Configure Effects".
From there you get 10 (I think 10) slots to put in individual effects. When you select an effect it then asks you for a delay. This is how many seconds it will wait until it executes the next effect. If the next effect is "Empty slot" or if there are no more slots, it will automatically loop to the top of the list. Delays can be anywhere from 3 to 15 seconds. I will caution you against using some effects alone or even often with only a 3 second delay. Mind bloom and electric fog are very pretty, but if you play only that effect on a 3 second delay its a one way ticket to Lag City. Some effects are short and sweet (confetti or Avians) and work great on a 3 sec delay. Foam is wasted on a 3 second delay unless you have you droid on patrol, but even if you do that the lag is manageable.

uhh, I believe you have to be a novice DANCER to use the effects droids.

Fragpuppie's post is correct about how to set up the droid. I'm also pretty sure there's no way to set up a macro for the droid, but I've never really bothered trying, since we have the ability to configure pauses between effects, and they loop without intervention.
