The Mind enhancement skill (which you actually get in each box of Techniques) is what affects your Focus/Willpower buff size. The buff is a percentage bonus corresponding to the number of points you have in that skill. So at MM, you can apply a +100% Focus/Willpower buff to someone listening to you that you use the /setperform action on. At Novice, you could only do 10%.

I think the "musical mind enhancement" refers to your proficiency at giving other people our buff to Focus and Willpower.

To confer that buff, either (1) target the person, type /setperform, start playing, have the listener /listen and then /stoplisten after 10 minutes; or (2) group with the person and ask them to /listen and then, after 20 minutes, to /stoplisten.

hello all, finally made it to MM

my question is: what is the musical mind enhancement? i was kind of expecting to see an additional +25 tacked onto my mind bar, but that didn't happen. i do see the other bonuses added to my skill mods... +7 ranged/melee, etc.
