Thread: Setperforms...

Hi all,

I have tried a number of setperforms by targeting a person, or typing their name after /setperform, but the resulting system message says I am doing a setperform at %TT, the persons name is not listed.

Is this normal, or am I just a freak for being a Wookiee muscian?

However it does seem my buffs are working a little.

Thanks

It's normal.

And yes, you are a freak.

Help any?

The best way I've found to check is to ask the person you're meaning to buff whether they see "Kan-Doo focuses his performance on you" in their system messages.

And yes, those %TT% are really annoying. I think bandflourishes still have them too.

Actually I was thinking then, for certain cases when you want to target someone for a /setperform but have to keep your instrument targeted to play (can't remember which, haven't reached that far yet) instead of having to target person, type /setperform, then target instrument and play, all you need to do is:

Keep playing and just type /setperform "name here" instead, much easier.

I am sure many worked that out, I have done it, with a Traz, so in theory it works.

Sorry rambling...

During my short life as a rock star, I came up with the following macro for buffs:

/setperform; /pause 480;(480 is 8 min) /tell [yourname] buff is ready.; /tell [theirname] buff is ready;

or something close to this. since theirname would change per customer it'd probably work best just using the yourname part and telling them when the time is up.
