Do the specials in musical techniques actually give you any additional XP or do they just draw attention to yourself?

No additional xp, but I saw a post once that said they improve your heal rate, and maybe the entertainer buff.

Hmm, 50/50 good info and useless speculation; I'm above average for these forums at least.

In fact, they do give more XP, but only if a person is watching YOU (not just someone in your group) and they have mind wounds. And the effects heal the person's mind more quickly.
So maybe you don't actually get MORE XP, but you get it in faster since its in bigger chunks.

I dont think BF comes into it.

I just used it for show mainly...looks cool enough, but not to be constantly doing it unless your local doctor needs the exp

When I performed techniques, I did not notice an increase in healing at all, though it could be me. Can't deselect the blasted Nalargon or, well, we all know what happens...
