Thread: Medics healing mind???
This was known for a few weeks. Its been all over the test center forum, this one, and the Combat medics forums.

it's been long established that CM's /healmind doesn't cut into any entertainer's business. it requires mastery in one of the skill trees, inflicts severe mind wounds (40+ per mind-related stat per heal) depending on the CM's BF, and CMs cannot heal their own mind. it also uses up a large chunk of mind. if anything i've been getting *more* healing xp on my dancer, since i've been healing these wounds from /healmind.
prehaps it seems like a big gain for CMs, butwe have our new DoT cap to worry about. as a dancer i didn't feel the skill was threatening, since now CMs would want to bring high level entertainers to hunts with them for healing mind between fights, and the BF from the skill adds up to some nice xp.
i sincerely hope you're not suggesting thatall of us arewhiners...most CMs (as i've heard) would gladly give up /healmind for our old DoT incap system. however, once it was implemented there wasn't much room for change. look on the bright side... CMs that do use the skill will make good customers ![]()
