Since the recent large patch there is a bug I experience on occasion where the game will not recognize a targets name for an emote. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It makes it even more frustration that the nal has to be targetted, because you can't do emotes by typing the targets name all the time.

Yeah, I've noticed this too. It's a big problem for Musicians. I've mentioned it to the devs a couple times already, along with /rt (retell). Both problems appeared for a while on TC after the Cities patch hit there, and both were eventually corrected, so I hope they will be fixed on Live too. I'll let you know what I hear.

I use the keyboard a lot vs. targeting and then emoting..and yes..this is something that is happening everywhere..not just when targeting the naralie or Ommni. So it's a SWG over all bug..not just a Musician thing

Yes, I also noticed this. I'm going around it by just typing /wave or /welcome then very quickly click my target press enter and click the nalargon again, so far I haven't stopped playing yet.
