Ok..so after working my way thru the ranks to Master musician..and finding myself a nice little town tolive in fullfill my finest dream...I own my own theater! /angelssing /harpsplay

Sadly it all seems such a waste of time??

A) The place doesn't even come with a sign (I know I can buy one)

B) The stage is smaller than the cantinas

C) You can't "set" anything on the stage..how can you do plays and such without props?

D) You can't set anything out onthe seating area...no chairs no lights...nothing..kust plain hard stone to sit on

Most of this I realize comes from the fact that you can't set things out on patios and such...another thing I think is a crock...can Mayors place things out there for you?? Is there any reason to have a theater if you have a cantina inyour town???

used as sniper positions in PvP.

you can block entry so no one can get to your snipers.

Posaedon: Yes, player theaters are a mess. Personally, I don't even like the architecture, but I'd get over that if the things just worked right. This issue was on the list of 10 questions we just submitted to the devs. No response yet.

If I had the lots, I'd opt for a cantina over a theater. Unfortunately, I'm a guild leader, so I don't have the lots.

That's kind of like saying, "If I were hungry, I'd opt for a steak and a beer over bantha poodoo."

Thanks for the feedback guys..hadn't thought of the sniper aspect hehe

My next question would be: If I drop Master Musician would the theater fall or would I still be baleto pay maintanence on it?

Well, you can place a cantina and drop the mastery that allowed you to place it and take care of it just fine. So one would think the same would apply to the theater. However...if they ever do fix them (yeah, right) and you have to re-deed it to get the fixes...you wouldn't be able to put it down again.

Surprisingly, yeah. Most buildings are blocked off on the patios, however part of the theatre can be used to snipe from. While yer at it, throw a few minefields in front of the place....
